Lent 2010 - Day 39
What Happens in the Tomb – Doesn't Stay in the Tomb.
by Pastor Tony Cervero
There is a commercial for Las Vegas that has become a sad commentary on people's attitude of ‘sin city': What happens in Las Vegas – Stays in Las Vegas.

How Dead Are You?
by Pastor Tony Cervero
The story of Jesus' death is a painful spectacle. The cross, the scourging, the nails, and the spear in his side. He died on the cross - but every step he took on Good Friday was a step towards death. Death is a painful thing. But there is one truth about Easter that can't be ignored. Before there could ever be a Resurrection, there must be a crucifixion.
Every promise the Bible gives about new life begins with our death. Jesus Died for Dead people.
- Eph.2 - While we were dead in our sins, Christ died for us.

Defeat to Victory
by Pastor Dave Holtzhauer
In John Chapter 21 Jesus arrives on the scene while some of the disciples are out fishing. It was early morning and Jesus was preparing a meal for them. Once again they had fished all night and caught nothing. Jesus stood on the shore and instructed to them where to throw the nets, again they caught a huge amount. After they knew it was Jesus they rushed to shore and fellowshipped and ate with him.

Easter Expectations or Expectancy
by Pastor Tony Cervero
There is a real difference between EXPECTANCY and EXPECTATIONS. With expectations, we usually have a set of things that we determine must occur for us to be happy. Things we determine that must happen for our dream to come true ... and so often we slip God into the form of our EXPECTATIONS. And when He doesn't perform to those standards - or when He doesn't meet our expectations - our faith is shattered along with all of our dreams.

Keep Believing for the Impossible
By Pastor Tony Cervero
The Resurrection proves that the impossible is possible. It proves that the least likely reality can be changed. Death is not the final word. Hatred does not win. Sin is conquered. And the Resurrection proves that the heart was meant to hope, dream, and be inspired ... more than it was created to be filled with despair, anxiety, and worry.
Lent 2010 - Day 33
Knowing God
By Pastor Tony Cervero
Paul realized that if the believer does not share and experience the suffering and resurrection of Jesus - they will never truly KNOW Jesus. He prayed: I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. Phil. 3:10-11
Lent 2010 - Day 31
The Spiritual Danger of Physical Weariness
by Pastor Tony Cervero
One of the most poignant moments in Gethsemane was when Jesus exclaimed: "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak." (Matt. 26:41) This exclamation was more than a prayer; these words flowed from a heart of passion and desperation.

SACRIFICE
By Pastor Tony Cervero
David Livingstone was a talented doctor, missionary, and adventurous explorer. What you may not know is that he was a sickly man. When he ventured into Africa in the nineteenth century, he took a goat with him because he needed goat's milk for health reasons.
