Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi

When the disciples encountered the risen Christ, their lives changed, their heart changed, their actions changed, and their courage changed. The way they loved changed. And their mission for life changed. And when you ever encounter Him, everything in your life will change. But let me warn you - it may not be what you are expecting. Encountering the risen Savior may compel you to do things you would never do without that seeing Him because when you see the risen Jesus - you cannot help but encounter the Love that carried Jesus to the Cross.

If God is so powerful and loving - why is there so much suffering? I don't know if I could ever answer the question: Why? But there are many other questions that can be answered. Because Jesus suffered and rose from the dead - our suffering takes on totally new dimensions.

Insignificant or Significance

By Pastor Dave Holtzhauer

Is there anything that we do that is insignificant in God's kingdom?

Have you ever been asked to do something mundane or a little chore that you thought didn't have any significance? Have you ever been asked to do something that wasn't in the public's eye but in obedience without creating a stir, did it?
