Dear Friends,

Life is a journey! It is one that traverses through unknown terrain; unexpected detours; and unclear destinations. It is the adventure of our lifetime. All of life’s challenges make us aware of our need for the faith, hope, and love we find in God. You will either face this life with expectancy inspired by hope or hesitancy that is tethered by fear. It is your choice. Faith, hope, and love - that comes from God - persistently brings us to the reality that “God has something great for us in the future.”

So, we press forward inspired by the Core Values that God has laid on our hearts. With this expectancy; the services, ministries, and relationships at Ventura First Assembly of God will be built upon four Core Values that we maintain:

ENCOUNTER

Every person was created to experience and encounter God personally. This consistent relationship inspires and directs us in all we do.

CONNECTION

Experiencing God is best done in the context of loving and healthy relationships. We are all called to be part of something bigger than ourselves.

GROWTH

Every person will be changed, healed, and transformed as we passionately follow Jesus. As followers of Jesus, our future is greater than our past.

IMPACT

Every person can be empowered by God’s Spirit to do great and mighty things.

Life is more than a single lap around a track; it is a continually changing trek through the landscape of this world by human souls on their way to God.
